I loved the song that Nell Carter sang about her brother. I believe it was a Steve Winwood song back in the high life. I would love to have a copy of it.
The whole program was ground breaking and uplifting but her performance in particular stood out. Nell was able to bring her personal life into the epidemic which at the time was very hush hush.
Her rendition was uplifting and moving. I'll never forget it. Her emotions that she conveyed as if talking to her brother in heaven were inspirational. I know she is up there with him
