Decently made horror film., 11 February 2005
Author: Prolox from Canada

Three couples find some gold buried in a cave & come under attack by a resurrected Miner, whom armed with a pick ax, decides to get his gold back. Director John Carl Buechler whom did special effects for the GHOULIES films & directed Friday THE 13TH PART 7, has crafted an interesting villain very much in the vain of the CREEPER & JASON. The special effects are pretty good & the actors all work well together. In some ways, this flick reminded me of the horror films released in the 1980's. Horror fans should try this out, it's much better than what Hollywood has been giving us lately. The kills are also quiet inventive. What a shame if they don't bring this guy back for a MINERS MASSACRE 2 or CURSE OF THE FORTY-NINER 2 which ever.
