Have we collectively time-traveled back to the ’90s? Because the Olsen twins are suddenly everywhere.
On the heels of Netflix’s Full House revival becoming a reality, Nickelodeon announced Thursday that it has acquired Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s library of series, TV movies and music video specials.
Among the titles acquired are The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley, You’re Invited to Mary-Kate & Ashley’s, So Little Time, Mary-Kate and Ashley In Action!, Fashion Forward, Our Lips Are Sealed, Winning London, Holiday in the Sun, When in Rome, »
Nickelodeon has acquired the rights to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s library of movies and series from the ’90s and early 2000s, which will begin to air this month, Variety has learned.
The kids’ cable network will be bringing four of the Olsen twins’ series, seven TV movies and two music video specials from 1994-2003 to a new generation of viewers, rolling out titles over the year.
“Mary-Kate and I are excited to announce our video library will be available to the Nickelodeon community,” said Ashley Olsen. Her sister added, “Nickelodeon has been at the forefront of kids entertainment for decades. We believe this is the perfect home for our library.”

On the heels of Netflix’s “Full House” reboot announcement, Nickelodeon is getting into the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen business. Viacom’s adolescent-friendly network has acquired a Birkin bag’s worth of film, TV and music content from the early era of the Olsen sisters, licensed through the twins’ lucrative company Dualstar.
