Cobie Smulders is not accustomed to being singled out. The How I Met Your Mother star and Marvel universe apparatchik tends to operate in the company of others, which is why she found herself somewhat stricken with panic earlier this year at the Sundance premiere of her latest film, Unexpected, which opens in theaters and on demand this Friday. 'Agent Maria Hill' Covers "Women's Health"

Sneak Peek a new clip of footage from "Avengers: Age Of Ultron", featuring actress Cobie Smulders aka 'Agent Maria Hill', plus take a look @ Smulder's latest pictorial for "Women's Health" magazine:

Smulders' first major acting role was in the Showtime science fiction series "Jeremiah", followed by a recurring lead in the Vancouver-lensed  'lesbian' series "The L Word".

Her first permanent series role was in ABC's "Veritas: The Quest", followed by playing television reporter 'Robin Scherbatsky' on the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother".

Smulders played 'Maria Hill' in director Joss Whedon's 2012 comic book movie "The Avengers", then reprised the role in the premiere of the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." television series. 

She will return for Season 2.

The character appeared in the Russo brothers' 2014 sequel "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".

Maria Hill also appears in director Joss Whedon's "Avengers" sequel, "Avengers: Age of Ultron", opening May 1, 2015.
