Storyline

Sora's world is shattered when a violent storm hits his home, and is seperated from his two closest friends. The storm scatters the three to unknown worlds. At the same time, there is turmoil in the Disney Castle. King Mickey is missing, and Court Wizard Donald and Captain Goofy are out to find him. On their travels they meet Sora, on his own search for his lost friends. The three are told of ominous creatures called Heartless, being without hearts derived from an unknown dimension and are the ones responsible for the devastating storm. The Disney villians, enticed by the power of darkness, manipulate the Darkness to help them gather the princesses of heart, who are needed to open a mysterious final door. Upon discovering the link between the Heartless, the storm, and the disappearance of King Mickey, Sora, Donald, and Goofy join forces and help familiar Disney heroes to save their worlds from the Heartless. Quotes

Hades: That little squirt took down that Heartless! Who'd have thought it?
Jafar: Such is the power of the Keyblade. The child's strength is not his own.
Ursula: Why don't we turn him into a Heartless? That'll settle things quick enough.
Captain Hook: And the brat's friends are the king's lackeys. Swoogle me eyes, they're all bilge rats by the look of them.
Oogie Boogie: You're no prize yourself.
Captain Hook: Shut up!
Maleficent: Enough. The Keyblade has chosen him. Will it be he who conquers the darkness? Or will the darkness swallow him? Either way, he could be ...

Fun, Memorable, and Emotional. . .
18 May 2004 | by (Craven County, NC USA) – See all my reviews

I have always been a fan of both Disney & video games like Final Fantasy! A small challenge & memorable characters, this game caught my attention right away! After playing it, conquering the game, and the ability to save your place in the game, I just could not get enough of it! I recommend this game to anyone who's a fan of Disney & Squaresoft! Not just the gameplay, but knowing that 90% of the original voice casting from the movies & series of Disney was what also caught my attention in the credits! Being knowledgeable of entertainment and performer myself, I checked up on much of this! This Playstation 2 game's VERY WELL DONE! I certainly look forward to the sequel! BRING IT ON! I give this game, on a scale of 1 to 10, an: 11!
