The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

There are some references to teenagers "doing it," as well as kisses.

Jamie Lee Curtis and Mark Harmon's characters are very affectionate with each other. They kiss playfully in many scenes.

A teenage boy develops an attraction for Anna while she is in her mother's body, completely unaware that it's actually Anna. This could be considered inappropriate and sexual.

While in her mother's body, Anna rides behind a teenage boy on a motorcycle. She is seen straddling him and wrapping her arms affectionately around his waist.

Tess touches her hands to her breasts after being switched back to her own body at the end of the movie.

Grandpa asks if a pair of underware is "one of them thongs".

Violence & Gore

Some slapstick violence is included for the sake of the comedy. Also, Anna and Tess get into strong verbal arguments throughout the movie, but generally speaking, the film is not violent or gory at all.

Profanity

At least 3 hells, 3 "sucks," 8 uses of "Oh my God," 3 of "God" and 1 use each of "For God's sakes", "Bite Me" and "Oh God" as exclamations.

There are many variations of the word "suck" used throughout the film.

Some drinking at a bar and the wedding rehersal.

The earthquake scenes are a little intense, but everyone's okay. Little kids might be scared by the shaking.

In a dramatic teenager moment, Anna threatens to kill herself, and her little brother asks if he can watch. It is intended to be funny, but it can be shocking and inappropriate for some kids to watch.
