Storyline

The entomologist Potrefax inherits an immense fortune and a luxurious hotel on the French Riviera. He leaves his modest London Family-House where he kept his insects and takes Betty, the little maid, along with him to his new home. Betty has always been devoted to him. Upon his arrival, Potrefax is ridiculed by all because of his love for bugs and rare insects. In an attempt to blackmail him, Ferraro, the hotel manager, gets him drunk and takes a picture of him. He wants him to give him the hotel. But Betty helped by young Richard Dalroy, the rue heir who became an accountant, manage to stop him. Soon after that, Betty and Richard get married.
