Parents Guide for
Party Monster (2003) More at IMDbPro »

The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.
Visit our Parents Guide Help to learn more

Sex & Nudity

Some sexual references. A few characters wear some bizzare and sexualized outfits on occasion.

Violence & Gore

There are themes relating to a murder, but the actual scene is quick cut, and not graphic. There is a brief image of blood on the floor next to a dying/dead man, and there is talk of cutting up a corpse to dispose of it.

Profanity

About 30-40 F words.

Ecstasy, Ketamine, and Cocaine are used frequently and in a casual manner throughout the film.

There is one scene at the end where Alig is shown killing his drug dealer with a friend. It might be disturbing for some to see blood and to see the fact that a man was beaten to death with a hammer.
