Pretty good show considering.....
30 August 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This show, like so many others, follows in the footsteps of past greats such as Johnny Carson, and Dave Letterman, who were both hilarious and had great times during their runs. Jimmy is funny although he goes a little too fast, it's hard to keep up sometimes with his interview style. But he's fun and takes aim at everyone in the public eye without getting too intense. I do feel many of his comic routines and skits seem to emulate Dave Letterman's crazy stunts a little to obviously, but that's OK because in a world like ours, it's nice to just have a fun evening for a change and laugh, without skip over the prevalent violence and darkness of today's prime time shows. The only real issue I have so far is the choice of musical talent to end the shows with. The others in the past had many losers themselves, but it seems Jimmy's show features a lot of real crap for music - the rap, the death-metal, whatever it's called. It's really out-of-place for an otherwise upbeat and fun show. In fact, I am starting to turn off the TV about the time the music sequences begin. So over all not bad, but they need to work on it some more.
