Storyline

The truly independent film, The After School Special, was a simple story that said so much and touched people in so many ways. Two brothers along with an ensemble of fresh talent made all this possible and were brought into the light. But as documentary filmmaker, Zeus Papagianakopoulous, is about to find out, the real story took place when the cameras weren't rolling. Written by Anonymous

With out a doubt in the leagues of This Is Spinal Tap.
30 December 2002 | by (Los Angeles, California) – See all my reviews

This is a clever follow up to the hilarious independent comedy, The After School Special. Instead of doing a direct sequel, the film makers took an interesting route and did a follow up film in the mockumentary style. This is almost Where are they Now of the cast of the first film. I can honestly say that My Brother's Light is with out a doubt in the leagues of This Is Spinal Tap and Best in Show. Clever, insightful of the film industry (Much better than anything presented in Steven Soderbergh's Full Frontal), and just like The After School Special, refreshingly honest humor. My Brother's Light is a very funny film that is definitely worth catching.
