"Character Building: Inside Life as a House" is one of two little featurettes I saw on the "Life as a House" DVD. I found this to be quite enjoyable but I don't really remember it too well so I guess it didn't leave that much of an impression on me. As the title implies, this little featurette mainly deals with the characters (and also the actors) inside "Life as a House", something which is fairly interesting as I thought the characters in the film itself were reasonably strong and well-developed. I was impressed by the level of analysis the cast and others had to offer on the film's main characters, but after a while I started to think they were spending too much time subtly praising the film, its characters and each other, which got a bit boring. Overall it was a nice little companion to the film though.
