This Sunday, late-night anchor Jimmy Kimmel will step into the Emmy spotlight at the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards.
Making his Emmy host debut, Kimmel will move from the audience to the stage, as his ABC show Jimmy Kimmel Live! has won three Emmys and is nominated this year for Outstanding Variety Series.
Aside from his late-night series, Kimmel is most known being the funny co-host of Comedy Central’s The Man Show with Adam Carolla from 1999 to 2003. In April, he hosted the prestigious White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
Kimmel is joining the ranks of some of the most popular (and unpopular) hosts in Emmy history. Some of the more revered hosts include Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz (1952), Johnny Carson (1971-74) and Neil Patrick Harris (2009). But let’s get real: As long as it’s better than the reality show hosts in 2008, featuring Tom Bergeron, Heidi Klum, »

The Comic-Con 2012 schedule has now been released in full, and barring any major updates, is set. The blessing and curse of being an attendee is deciding which panels/autograph sessions/special events to attend, when they conflict. And they always do.
For you to see for yourself, below are what we are calling the “headliner” panels; those panels that are taking place in Hall H, Ballroom 20, Room 6Bdf, and the just-next-door Hilton Indigo Ballroom, the four major venues for panels. There are descriptions of each panel as well as the show(s) and/or movie(s) they are there to discuss.
See how many conflicts you might have, or how you might arrange time and space to somehow attend these plus spend every day in the vendors’ Exhibit Hall and chasing zombies in the nearby The Walking Dead Escape. By the way, if you figure that out, Please let us know. »

By now you've read the Tweets/Facebook posts/smoke signals about Adam Carolla's recent comments to The New York Post in an interview to promote his new book. But let's summarize for those of you who just put down first and last month's rent for a comfy new spot under a rock. Carolla, the comedian famous for his time on Loveline, Crank Yankers, and *ahem* The Man Show, was asked, "The lesson you learned from a sexual harassment seminar was... More >> »

Things are really kicked into high gear on Antm:Bi this week. And by "high gear," I mean "high crazy." Maybe this show's still got it after all!
Now, when an American or British girl wins best photo of the week, her "team" gets a prize. For her "genius upside down" winning shot last week -- I doubt you need me to point out why hanging upside down out of a crib with Kris Jenner doesn't exactly qualify as "genius" -- Laura wins a box full of clothes for the American girls. But the Brits shant be bother'd! They decide to play a "prank" on the Yanks by running into their room at night and throwing "little balls of paper" at them. So basically their "prank" is to wake up the Americans with their squeals while gently grazing their bodies (but more likely them missing entirely) with featherweight balls of ineffectiveness. »
