Jimmy Kimmel Unleashes His Troompa Loompas On ‘Bully’ Donald Trump

Jimmy Kimmel Unleashes His Troompa Loompas On ‘Bully’ Donald Trump
Donald Trump’s boorish behavior during this election season isn’t exactly a surprise to anyone who’s been paying attention to the news. He frequently insults his opponents with childish nicknames to his crowd of supporters, and though he’s largely moved away from that now that he has sewed up the Gop nomination, Jimmy Kimmel has no problem reminding his viewers of Trump’s bullying tactics.

On last night’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Kimmel played a supercut of Trump’s nicknames for other candidates — Little Marco, Crazy Bernie, Crooked Hillary, etc. Then, he brought out his crew of Troompa Loompas again to sing a Wonka-esque number about Trump’s behavior, complete with breakdancing and a reference to Trump’s old reality show “The Apprentice.” Watch the video below.

David Alan Grier has the courage to explore live TV.

The comedian and three-time Tony Award nominee has joined NBC’s production of “The Wiz Live!.” He’ll play the Cowardly Lion, the famously timid friend of the lost Dorothy who accompanies her down the Yellow Brick Road in the hopes that their journey will lead him to find some courage.

Film Review: ‘Road Hard’

Film Review: ‘Road Hard’
Comedians are neurotically competitive and doing standup for a living can be brutal — with these basic takeaways, “Road Hard” would barely get past the starting gate if viewers had a “Stop me if you’ve heard this one before” option. This feature directing debut for Adam Carolla and frequent writing/producing collaborator Kevin Hench is an amiable, nicely assembled semi-autobiographical fiction that will please the former’s fans. Others, however, will find the onscreen standup underwhelming, and the other seriocomic elements variously unsurprising and underdeveloped in this peek at life on the comedy B-list.

The crowdfunded pic is opening on 11 screens nationwide March 6, simultaneous with VOD launch and scattered one-shot showings accompanied by personal appearances. Carolla’s following, plus other familiar comedy faces in support roles, should ultimately guide “Road” toward decent returns in home formats.

The star is basically playing an alternative-universe version of himself, had he not followed

Adam Carolla Afm Speech Preview: Hollywood Sucks
Exclusive: Last year’s American Film Market keynote speaker Adam Carolla is returning after successfully crowdfunding $1.4 million for his first film in seven years, with the semi-autobiographical comedy in post and a message to studios and financiers: “I just made a movie without you assholes, and it will be better than 92% of the shit Hollywood cranks out,” he said via phone from his Glendale headquarters. “I’m standing in my own studio – because of what? Because of CBS, because of Sony, because someone let me do this? I don’t need any of these assholes.”

Carolla admits his outspoken past and accusations of homophobia and misogyny might have turned off traditional investors. “Did the way you acted at the last party affect your invite to the next party? I can’t tell what I’ve missed out on,” he said. “I’m tired of dealing with the networks. I don’t think it’s helped,

“Do I Sound Gay?” Andy Bichlbaum of “The Yes Men” Doesn’t Think So

Ever heard of the The Yes Men? Activist and filmmaker Andy Bichlbaum and his colleagues go about the country pretending to be official representatives of Exxon, The Chamber of Commerce, Halliburton etc. Then they hold fake press conferences and the like and film the public relations mayhem for whatever organization they’ve targeted. Basically it’s Crank Yankers for corporate watchdogs.

A few weeks ago we posted about the upcoming film Do I Sound Gay? in which filmmaker David Thorpe examines the concept of “the gay voice”– both his own and of others. (This highly anticipated film has already sparked a lot of discussion both here and on other sites such as Andrew Sullivan,)

Thorpe recently took up the topic of “the gay voice” with Bichlbaum. The Yes Man, while gay, doesn’t believe he comes off as a yesss man. Check out the conversation below.

Xbox to add original programming, announces 12 new projects

  • Hitfix
You knew it was only a matter of time. After Netflix scored with original programming like "Orange Is the New Black" and "Arrested Development," Amazon quickly jumped into the game -- and now Xbox is, too. Pretty soon, look forward to new shows from your microwave and blender. Xbox will launch Xbox: Originals this June with 12 projects. They will be available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and other Microsoft devices, and, of course, the shows will offer "interactive capabilities." To prove they're not kidding around, Xbox Entertainment Studios has attracted names like Steven Spielberg and Ridley Scott, who are attached to two separate scripted projects based on the “Halo” franchise. Because hey, you can never get enough "Halo." Other shows in production include an unscripted series about international street soccer, an original drama about robotic servants in a dystopian world, and a documentary about the search for discarded Atari games in

Tribeca: Is Zombeavers The Next Sharknado?

Having grown up in the '80s, I hold a special place in my heart for creature features. Gremlins was a gateway drug to Critters and Ghoulies. I've chased down titles like Arachnophobia, Jack Frost, Black Sheep and Piranha Part Two: The Spawning, all for the practical effects and puppets that were both creepy and funny. So, I was pretty stoked for Zombeavers to hit the Tribeca Film Festival with its promise of blood-drenched puppets and outrageousness. But there's something crucial missing here that keeps it from being as fun as the titles that served as the centerpieces to slumber parties and Diy midnight movie marathons. The directorial debut of Crank Yankers's writer Jordan Rubin, Zombeavers begins in the familiar setting of a rural cabin that sits beside a seemingly placid lake. This is the isolated vacation spot where college co-eds Mary (Rachel Melvin), Zoe (Cortney Palm) and Jenn

The Cast of Good Burger Then and Now

The Cast of Good Burger Then and Now
When Nickelodeon first launched in 1977, it seemed like little more than a child's answer to Saturday Night Live and MTV. In fact, it wasn't until Nickelodeon debuted the Canadian sketch series You Can't Do That on Television in the U.S. that this nascent network began to gain real traction amongst fans of all ages. Before too long, the basic cable channel became quite popular, especially with the launch of it's Nick At Nite line-up featuring such "classic" shows as Alf, The Facts of Life, Growing Pains and many others throughout the years. Viewership certainly proceeded to explode, turning it into one of today's favorite hubs for nostalgia of all kinds.

Nickelodeon had officially arrived in the 1990s, taking its signature brand to the big screen with Nickelodeon Movies in 1995. It wasn't until 1997, though, that this film division made its most iconic and beloved movie of all time: Good Burger.

Adam Carolla proposes to Jimmy Kimmel after Prop 8 dies

  • Pop2it
The love that Adam Carolla and Jimmy Kimmel have for one another is well-documented. Close friends since their days together on the radio, they've gone on to create "The Man Show" and "Crank Yankers" together, while maintaining their bond.

With Prop 8 now dead in California, there's no time like the present for them to make their union official. That's why Carolla appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Tuesday (July 2), getting down on one knee to propose to his best friend.

Unfortunately for Adam, Jimmy's already engaged to Molly McNearney, a writer on his show. When Kimmel admitted that bit of news, Carolla was incensed. "That skinny blonde b****? I thought that was your Pilates instructor!"

With Carolla crushed, a "Congratulations Adam & Jimmy" banner dropped with a bunch of balloons, making the situation even worse for the podcasting comedian. Better luck with your next friend, Adam. Check out the video below:
