Storyline

Sakura Avalon is a ten-year girl who is entrusted to capture the magical Clow Cards after accidentally releasing them from their book. She mysteriously wins tickets to a trip to Hong Kong. Accompanied by guardian of the Clow Cards, Kero, best friend Madison Taylor, big brother Tori and school girl crush Julian Star, Sakura takes a break from her duties as Cardcaptor and visits the city. However, mystery dreams, warnings from the city's magical community, and a pair of malevolent birds, lead Sakura to encounter an imprisoned sorceress who seek revenge against the Clow Cards' long-deceased creator. Sakura faces the wrath of the sorceress as her friends are threatened and a dark part of the Clow Cards' past is revealed. Written by mrusty5

One of the better general audience anime films.

Those who've seen the Cardcaptors T.V. series should know that this movie takes place midway through the series-just before the episode "Melin's Story", back when Sakura is still in the process of capturing cards. In the movie she wins a trip for four to Hong Kong. She takes her best friend Madison, her crush Julian, and her older brother Tori with her. (Kero is also brought along as well.) After arriving, she finds herself reunited with Li Showron and Melin. Sakura has also been plagued with frightening dreams lately, and it seems that her winning the trip to Hong Kong was a planned event...see it for yourself.
