Celebrities are abandoned in the Australian jungle. To earn food, they do trials that challenge them physically (climbing caves/trees) and mentally (eating animal parts). Viewers vote their favourites to stay and to take part in challenges.
Host Matthew Wright and an invited group of panelists, and the occasional celebrity, review topical stories from the newspapers and discuss burnings issues of the day interactively, via telephone or email, with members of the general public. Written by

The series is broadcast live without a delay, which has resulted in a number of occasions when the series has accidentally broadcast foul language. Wright had to apologise after special guest Giles Coren repeatedly used a vulgar term for oral sex while he was being interviewed and Rula Lenska accidentally uttered "bollocks" on the programme. Several callers to the programme have used foul language deliberately to cause offence. See more »
Matthew Wright and 3 panelists discuss what's going on in Britain
Witty, bright - something to get your brain going in the morning! Very popular with students apparently (myself included!) Starting off with a summary of the morning papers and then three topical discussion points.
There's usually a serious topic - domestic violence, the war on terror to name a couple; something funny and light-hearted - back to the stocks for youth offenders!; and something in between.
The new extended show (90 minutes) includes a (usually) health section with an expert from the field discussing anything from diet, sex, relationships, wine, food and even pets with love life problems on a Friday.
The banter between Matthew Wright and the panel guests (and the callers and audience) is funny, witty, and I challenge you not to be joining in the discussion from your armchair! Watch out for Wrighty complaining about coppers nabbing him on his bike in the park! V funny!
