Own the rights?
I recently had the opportunity to see DROP DEAD ROSES at a festival. I wasn't surprised to see that the film won Best Picture. It was awesome! The crowd had a lot of fun (I believe it was the only show at the festival that sold out) -- I only wish I could have met the director to shake her hand! I know this sounds like I know her, but I don't...I wish I did! She knows how to tell an entertaining story and work well with the actors. What can I say -- I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!!!!I initially wanted to see the film because it starred the CLERKS guy, but I was thrilled that everyone was so damn good! I gave this film a 10 because it's worth it. I wish more movies were made like this. I don't know when or where it's playing next, but if the opportunity is there -- drop everything to go see DROP DEAD ROSES.
