Many films tried to capitalise on the popularity of the late, great Bruce Lee. Here are our ten favourites...
1973 was the year that kung fu broke in America. The release of the popular Five Fingers Of Death (aka King Boxer) in March set the fuse and when Enter The Dragon (the first Hong Kong martial arts film co-produced by a major Us studio) followed in August, it exploded.
Although Bruce Lee was billed as a co-star in Enter The Dragon alongside John Saxon because casting an Asian actor in the lead role of an American film was unheard of at the time (and would remain so until 1982 when Sho Kosugi topped the bill for Revenge Of The Ninja), it was Bruce who captured the public's imagination. His amazing look and style, his astonishing talent for acting, writing and directing, and his unparalleled martial arts ability made him an icon for...

I've mentioned before that American Idol was basically self-reliantly feeding itself photosynthesis-style by having their own alumni mentor and featuring performers singing their songs but this week's list of inspirational songs is just absurd.
Tunes by Ruben Studdard, Kris Allen, Jordin Sparks, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and David Cook have all made the list. Oh, and it also includes Susan Boyle - "Amazing Grace".
Susan Boyle? Simon Cowell, this is going too far. Accrediting a song that's been around three-hundred years to a contestant on Britian's Got Talent requires a disregard and gall that's usually credited to Ryan Seacrest. Perhaps he inspired this.
In keeping theme with "Idol Gives Back," the Top 7 are to sing inspirational songs to lift our spirits and fill our hearts with hope. Basically the opposite of the Black Eyed Peas' music, which brings forth fear and isolation.

Boxer-actor Sharad Saxena seemed to be giving 200 percent to the show 100 percent De Dhana Dhan. He gets candid in an interview and shares his experience of being a manager to 11 Indian Wrestlers in South Africa.
Tell us about the show.
We have taken along 11 wrestlers from different parts of India. I would rather call them soldiers, as they have gone there to bring back the glory home by defeating South Africa.
What is new in this show?
Here we are training these few muscular men for two months.

The song has Akhil playing a boxer who is totally immersed in his work and is followed around like a little lamb by Ankeeta who wants his attention. Akhil had earlier promised her his heart and she finally gets it towards the end….
The video has been directed By S Ramachandran who has become an Asha Bhosle specialist of sorts by virtue of having directed the legend herself in four of her videos earlier in Asha and Friends with Sanjay Dutt, Urmila Matondkar, Brett Lee and the Zee Little Champs. This is Ramachandran’s fifth video for an Asha Bhosle number though she does.
