• Audio/visual unsynchronized: At the end of the opera performance, the tympanist's arm is seen raised with a flourish. However, in the music he is heard still playing a roll, which definitely takes two hands.
  
  
• Continuity: The headboard in the bedroom appears and disappears between scenes
  
  
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): With an opera singer wife, he should have known to tell his daughters to shout "Brava!" and not "Bravo!" for their mother's performance.
  
  

• Boom mic visible: There is a boom mike visible in the upper right of the screen in the scene where the father comes to check on the mother while she's sick in the bedroom. As the camera zooms in, the mike disappears from the frame.
