Not exactly what I expected

I don't know what to make of this film. 2 minutes of subliminal imaging? 2 minutes of grungy colors flashing on the screen? 2 minutes trying to convey some message of....what? Trying to make something of it: when you do think about one of the voice overs towards the end of the film "it's just a movie", you think about all the horrific movies that have been made. All the violence and terrible things that are displayed in them. "And you keep telling yourself, 'it's just a movie'".

Describing it in short, this film is peculiar, odd, and thought provoking. I would say this film isn't unusual compared to his other films; that's his directing style. Watch it here: http://www.opensewer.com/banks/main.htm
