Storyline

The Liberty Party wins the presidential election agter the sudden death of the leading candidate of the Democratic Party. However, social and political chaos reign when it is revealed that the election was rigged. The new president's entire family commits suicide in disgrace. While political squabbling continues, the former president, who was very capable but unable to hold another term in office, leaves the country in disgust, vowing to never return.
