Storyline

A government agent trains a typical teenager Cody Banks who loves to skateboard, hates math, and feels like a complete idiot around girls, in the ways of covert operations that require younger participants. But Cody's got a secret--he's actually part of a secret teen CIA program. Cody's living every boy's dream life--he can drive like a stunt man, has an incredible arsenal of cool gadgets, and his agency mentor, Ronica Miles, is totally hot. But Cody's training is put to the test when he's sent to pose as a prep school student and befriend fellow teen Natalie Connors in order to gain access to her father--a scientist unknowingly developing a fleet of deadly pair of twisted villains called the nanobots for the evil organization ERIS, which can destroy any carbon or silicon-based substance-to destroy the world's defense systems so he can threaten anyone who opposes him. From runaway cars and high-speed snowboard chases to a spectacular final mountaintop showdown, Cody has to use ... Written by Anthony Pereyra {hypersonic91@yahoo.com}

Trivia

Harald Zwart:  [Fredrikstad]  When Cody and Natalie are meeting in the café, the Norwegian ice-cream brand 'Diplom is' is shown in the background on the wall behind Natalie. Also the 'Diplom-Is jenta' is seen on the floor to the left behind Natalie. Harald Zwart always puts in a couple of items from Norway in his movies. He has also put in the scarf from his local soccer team, FFK (Fredrikstad Fotballklubb), which you can see hangs from the door to his room. There is even a pennant on the wall of his (Cody Banks') room from the same soccer team. The colors are red and white on both the scarf and the pennant. See more »

just a kids movie
27 September 2003 | by See all my reviews

This is an okay kids' movie; but as college students who often enjoy kids' movies we did not enjoy it. The most irritating thing about this movie for me is that near the beginning of the movie he was 16 and getting his driver's license, and later in the movie he was 15. The entire movie was full of inconsistencies and overall annoying if you cannot stop thinking while watching a movie. We liked Hilary Duff's role, and the plot line on the romance was cute. Frankie and Hilary's chemistry was the best part of the movie.
