Red Ezra's porn directing career seems to be over (IMDb has zero credits for him in the last five years), but checking out his titles still in-print I'm impressed with the consistent high-quality of his product. WINDOWS is a perfect example.
Premise is simple: the manikins in store displays might have interesting adventures if they came to life. No, this isn't a riff on the all-time classic Anne Francis episode of "The Twilight Zone", but more akin to the private fantasies of those real-life manikins who occasionally pose in store windows to amaze passers-by (in the manner of street mimes who can endlessly hold a frozen pose).
Virtually all of the eight vignettes are stimulating, no mean feat, and Ezra wisely saves some of the best for last. Femme cast is not made up of superstars, but they're all attractive and whether matched in straight boy-girl or lesbian scenes or threesomes the sex is hot, and the accoutrements (including costumes) alluring. Like the current supremo in all-sex videos Jules Jordan, Ezra was always careful to accessorize.
For plot-driven porn Ezra has many titles to recommend, notably SWEETWATER and TABOO 21. But for a successful wall-to-wall opus WINDOWS is a winner.
