WCW always did goofier stuff than the WWF, thanks to Ted's money they would defeat the WWF for a few years but with certain stuff, especially the doomsday cage match you see they needed the money to help them. The night started off with a decent opener of Eddie Guerrero taking on Konnan. Then we had one of the hardest hitting matches I've ever seen as the Belfast Bruiser Fit Finley took on William Regal, these guys really hit each other hard in this match. Then in a ridiculous waste of PPV time Robert Parker took on Madusa, just awful. After that we had another terrible match as the Booty Man took on DDP, this match ran too long and it was awful, DDP is great but Brutus Beefcake has always sucked in the ring. Then things got even worse as the Giant took on Loch Ness, the crowd was the most quiet for this match than any other, I'm just glad it was under 3 minutes. Then we had a long 30 minute Chicago Streetfight match as Sting and Booker T took on the Road Warriors, this wasn't bad but it had a lot of split screen stuff and I don't care for that. And in a pathetic and horrible main event Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan actually defeated 8 guys: Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Zeus, Lex Luger, Kevin Sullivan, Faces of Fear and the Ultimate Solution, Solution & Zeus were only brought on for this one night, and this match was horribly boring. Just a god awful PPV by WCW, luckily though after getting more mexican wrestlers, the NWO and some other changes the future, a brief one, would shine very bright for WCW.
