Competent but predictable style of cop thriller about a police chief who's
affair with a woman who is being abused by her husband leads him into a
difficult situation where he has to race against time to prove his own
innocence in a web of murderous crime. Denzel Washington and Eva Mendez
manage to keep the whole thing going quite well, but it's still only
slightly a cut above a tv who-dunnit.
