Storyline

British Drama aired 2003-2011. Total of 86 Episodes A dedicated staff of doctors and nurses care for patients at the fictional St. Aidan's Royal Free Hospital in the seaside town of Elsinby in this spinoff of the popular British show "Heartbeat." The Royal is a spin off from the TV series Heartbeat. It is based in a hospital in Whitby (The 'big town') and follows the goings on of the staff, nurses doctors and porters.

It features a number of members of the Heartbeat series making cameo appearances. Claude Greengrass is a regular.

Ian Carmichael appears as the secretary .. he must be 99!

Gentle spin off... it won't last !
