'Pee Wee's Playhouse' Moves To The Guggenheim
5 September 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This film is just plain bad. No, not "Let's get drunk and MST3K this movie" bad. It's throw yourself out the window bad! The plot all revolves around a silly man singing and dancing in his one room one color (white) apartment with various puppets which appear out of drawers and closets.

Try to imagine 'Pee Wee's Playhouse' in the Guggenheim without Lawrence Fishburn or any other entertainment value.

"Kids' films" are often given too much slack for being completely devoid of plot or characters. WRONG!!! Just because 3 year olds are young doesn't mean they're dumb! Any child would demand better entertainment than this! People seem to forget that big budget kids' films do bomb, not just because they're poorly marketed ('The Iron Giant') but because they're horrible movies like 'An American Tail,' which I almost walked out on even as a kid! This video isn't suitable as entertainment for anyone of any age.
