This film is from the very underground vein of amazing acid trips for kids from a time when Jim Henson, Today's Special, and pretty much anything with green screen was fascinating to children under 10. It was a cutting edge theater show. It's easy to misdiagnose and misplace how tremendous a movie like this was for a kid in the 80's without any conception or context for that time. Like the Garbage Pail Kids live action mixed up with Gallagher and PeeWee and Fraggle Rock this is all about imagination and how fearless productions were with experimenting new ways to reach audiences. If you could handle the live action Alice in Wonderland you can handle this. A timeless piece of eighties amazingness. Sing on Tim Noah.
