Well that's what it felt like to me. WWA's first ppv was pretty much like one of the last Nitro's kind of sad really. It started off with two really positive things as we see Jerry Lawler doing commentary which was right before Vince brought him back to the WWF. Well actually this ppv aired in January of 2002 but originally aired in Australia I believe in October of 2001. So this was Jerry's only commentary on a ppv with WWA, plus Bret Hart was the commish and did a little shooting on Vince McMahon he whines too much though but it's still cool. The matches started off good as Juventud Guerrera had a decent ladder match with Psychosis however some of the match was cut off for whatever reason. Then we had the first match of a tournament to decide a new WWA world champion but it was a terrible match with Road Dogg and Konnan. Next was a decent hardcore match with Devon Storm and Norman Smiley, Storm does an incredible leap at the end of the match. Next was probably the worst battle royal I've ever seen, it was so stupid the announcers and the camera man and refs even got in it so dumb. Next was another terrible match as 7 foot goof Nathan Jones and the god awful one Jeff Jarrett had a short pathetic match. Road Dogg then took on Lane & Lodi in a handicapped match which also sucked. Then Jarrett advanced against Bagwell in another crappy match. Then yet another bad match as Luna took on her husband Gangrel, Gangrel is a good wrestler why waste him like this? And our main event was a steel cage match to decide the first ever WWA world champion as Jeff Jarrett took on the Road Dogg, I won't tell who wins cause I know... if anybody ever reads this lol that they'll be on pins and needles to watch and find out... right well most of the night sucked but if you're a big wrestling fan you'll still wanna see it just for more wrestling. WWA's last 2 ppv's have been better at least.
