A prop gun went off accidentally right at the beginning of the show. Four shots are heard but only three gunshot markings are seen on the casino building.
The goof items below may give away important plot points.
Character error
In the complete ending, when LeChiffre is holding the razor blade to the girl's throat, it is obvious that the blade is pointing away from the girl, instead of toward her throat. It is unknown if that was done intentionally (to prevent an accident) or if it was merely a mistake by the actor.
There is a myth that after his death scene playing Le Chiffre, Peter Lorre got up and walked-off the set whilst not aware that he was still in frame and the cameras still rolling. This story is untrue for this "Casino Royale" telemovie. This is actually a common TV Goof Legend and has mistakenly been associated with this production. It actually happened in an earlier episode of the Climax! TV Series based on Ian Fleming's friend Raymond Chandler's classic story Climax!: The Long Goodbye. The mistaken actor was Tristram Coffin.
