Storyline

"I'm goin' to be a beggar and you're goin' to be my child," says Ham to Bud, and it is no sooner said than done. Bud makes a captivating little girl, while Ham plays a fiddle. They are in a fair way to getting rich quick when Mrs. Lotta Coin happens along. "How strangely you resemble our little Nell," she says to Bud, after which she adopts the "youngster," making Ham her butler. Life is one sweet song for the pair in the Lotta Coin home until their rivalries get too strenuous and a sudden exposé ends with them out on the sidewalk. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis
