Now maybe the Writers Guild's definition of a "gentlemen's club" isn't a strip club although that's how I and everybody else would interpret that phrase. But the WGA Foundation's "Sale of Invaluable Experiences" which ends today at 5 Pm includes this bizarre offering: comedy writer/producer Jay Kogen (The Simpsons, Everybody Loves Raymond, George Lopez, Frazier, Malcolm In The Middle) "will take you go-karting or to a Gentlemen’s Club of your choice. Be brave, it could be the most fun you’ve ever had…well, the funniest, to be sure. Join Jay for an eventful evening." Like Hollywood isn't misogynist enough. »

ABC Family's newly green-lit pilot, "Switched At Birth," about two teen girls that were just that, switched at birth, may not have found the young stars to fill those roles, yet. But the network has found their mothers.
Our sources close to the the production tell us the actresses will play the young ladies' mothers in the one-hour scripted series.
As CocoCam moves into day two, things are going pretty much as expected -- which means zombies, dancing tacos and, as of this writing, a staff game of Twister, complete with a multi-colored disco ball. But late last night something more sinister happened: Usurped TBS host George Lopez -- with help from Dog the Bounty Hunter, natch -- sneaked into Conan O'Brien's offices and stole some Dell computers. Because what's good for the goose is good for the gander, right!? Click ahead to watch Lopez pull a Leno (or Conan, depending on your allegiances). »
On Wednesday (October 20), the "Live CoCo Cam" came online. The premise? A single camera mounted in a stairwell at the offices of Conan O'Brien's new show "Conan," which is set to premiere on Monday, November 8 at 11 p.m. on TBS. At 1 p.m. yesterday, they began broadcasting, beginning with a brief introduction and an '80s-style aerobics session (complete with neon leg warmers). Along the way, there was band member Richie "Labamba" Rosenberg working on a jigsaw puzzle and interacting with many of the writers and production staff who happened to be walking by (many of them carrying signs that said "Hi" to any number of friends and family members), a recitation of an epic poem, O'Brien eating an apple, the promised dancing taco, a staring contest and a visit from George Lopez and Dog the Bounty Hunter. It has been funny and surreal, to say the least.

Hot on the heels of the full season upgrade for Chuck, NBC announced today via press release that they have now ordered full seasons for three of their newest TV series. The hour-long drama The Event, the half-hour comedy Outsourced and the legal drama spin-off Law & Order: Los Angeles all had their stay on NBC extended for at least one full season. Network president Angela Bromstad said, ““We are pleased with the quality of The Event, Law & Order: Los Angeles and Outsourced, and feel they are an important part of helping to re-build our schedule and our studio pipeline. We believe in these new series and the creative auspices behind them.” Honestly, I feel almost the exact opposite way. The Event is a gimmick without substance and Outsourced is one of the worst comedy series I’ve ever seen . However, I’m rather indifferent on Law & Order: Los Angeles. You »

Taking a break from daddy duty to raise money for kids fighting cancer, Mario couldn't help but talk about his baby girl, saying, "The best thing about being a dad is that I have something to really want to wake me up in the morning and rush home, »
Now that September is here the networks are in the final sprint for the new 2010-2011 season. If you watch TV you probably will have seen many of these shows advertised. The new season lineup includes inevitable staples (classic cop and legal dramas) and more peculiar blends (The Shield’s Michael Chiklis in a family series playing a dad with superpowers, for example); some legendary names (Jj Abrams, Shawn Ryan, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg) and many fresh faces. A few shows like The Event (NBC), Running Wilde (Fox), Broadwalk Empire (HBO) or The Walking Dead (AMC) have already created buzz. For now, however, all of them are pure potential, waiting for their chance to conquer primetime. But despite any hopes or expectations, the only thing certain is that, among all of these promising shows, very few will make it to the second season mark.

More then 85 million teens voted -- and on Monday night, "Teen Choice 2010" aired on Fox with a star-studded lineup of winners and performances. "The Insider" has your show highlights! Robert Pattinson, Taylor Swift and teen sensation Justin Bieber dominated the night, each earning four awards. Hosted by Katy Perry and some of the cast of "Glee," the show kicked off with the first award (Choice TV actress: Comedy) being presented to teen queen Selena Gomez for "Wizards of Waverly Place." "Thank you," Selena said when accepting her award before graciously recognizing a fellow nominee. "Lea Michele so deserves this award." Reality TV stars and sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian took to the stage to present an award with their less-known sister, "Cougar" Kardashian (spoofed by George Lopez). George appeared alongside the Kardashians, dressed as a woman and sporting long, dark, Kardashian-esque locks. The award for Teen Choice Hottie went »
The Teen Choice Awards airs tonight on Fox, but the show was recorded yesterday in La. We had a sneak peek at the fun to come with lots of photos from the event, including highlights from host Katy Perry and jokes about the Kardashians courtesy of George Lopez. Robert Pattinson came face to face with his Robert Is Bothered impersonator Jimmy Fallon, and Sandra Bullock had some fun with her pal Betty White. So, tell us - what Teen Choice Awards moment are you most excited to see? Which Teen Choice Awards Moment Are You Most Excited to See? George Lopez - Looks like the Kardashians were in on the joke! To be fair, it was mostly vamps, but not all vamps at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards. Look at the hosts: Glee studs And Katy Perry, who visited various high-school stereotypes through the show. Cue a gazillion costume changes (we like geeky Katy the best). And watching them were young Hollywood’s finest, including Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, approximately 3 million peeps from Twilight, Megan Fox, Channing Tatum, Sandra Bullock, Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester, Ellen DeGeneras, David Beckham (wtf?), and The Kardashians. And my oh my, didn’t they look pretty? And some, well, didn’t. Kim Kardashian in a one-shouldered Zuhair Murad, looked demure by her standards as she went with her sisters (and uh, George Lopez dressed as a K’ian sister) to pick up the surfboard for Choice Reality show. Emma Roberts, not so much. A neon green strapless number did her no favors. Megan Fox’s legs killed »

Sandra Bullock didn't walk the blue carpet at the Teen Choice Awards, but that doesn't mean she wasn't there. The actress, 46, surprised the crowd at L.A.'s Universal Amphitheater on Sunday, when she accepted the award for choice movie actress in a drama for her Oscar-winning role in The Blind Side. Bullock - dressed in a gray top, black leather pants and high heels - came on stage and thanked cheering fans. "I don't know if you should bring attention to this. Some things are better left unsaid. It's been awhile since I was a teen," she said. "I'm so blessed and lucky. »

"The Twilight Saga" nabbed 11 awards at Sunday's ceremony, including choice movie fantasy, villain and chemistry.

Miley Cyrus has collected more nominations for 2010 Teen Choice Awards. The 17-year-old landed three additional nods for her movie work, two more for her music, two others for her fashion style and one for her fans. The 2010 Teen Choice Awards just released another wave of nominations, in addition to the first batch announced earlier this month. Unsurprisingly, "Twilight" and "Glee" are still leading the pack.
Only the TCAs could have categories like "Choice Twit" and "Choice Hissy Fit." We're psyched to see Ian Somerhalder in the running for Choice Male Hottie, and we love Dianna Agron as the Female Breakout Star.
The two-hour event airs Monday, Aug. 9 at 8 p.m. on Fox. Starting Monday, June 14, fans ages 13-19 can vote once each day at www.teenchoiceawards.com. Already on the list to attend? David Archuleta, Kristen Bell, John Cena, Miranda Cosgrove, Zac Efron, Victoria Justice, Jim Parsons and Shailene Woodley.

What's an L.A. Lakers championship game without all the Hollywood A-listers in attendance?
"Extra's" Lauren Sanchez was at the NBA Final game between the Lakers and the Celtics, and she chatted with the stars before the game. Check out the photos!
Andy Garcia was excited -- and a little tongue-tied. "We're ready to play. I mean, I'm not playing. They're ready to play," he corrected himself.
Jeremy Piven added, "I think it's all gonna happen! »
Sandra will continue to be a major leading lady, just like George Lopez told HollywoodLife.com last month!
We knew Sandra Bullock wasn’t quitting movie making! We knew it May 6 when her good friend George Lopez told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Sandra will be “taking our money for years to come,” and Sandra confirmed it last night at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. During her acceptance speech for the “Generation Award,” she promised everyone: “I’m not going anywhere!”
“The ‘Generation Award’ is an award for old people who have extended their welcome and should make nice and leave so that someone new can come,” Sandra said during her speech. “That’s not going to happen [for me]. I’m staying! No matter what you might have seen or heard or read lately, I love what I do and I’m not going anywhere!”
Sandra also used her stage time to “clear up a couple of things. »
George Lopez has been one friend of Sandra Bullock's that has been talking to the media, giving information on her condition and mindset after her highly public split with husband Jesse James and time out of the public eye.Now it appears Lopez has received the Jesse James treatment from an escort identified as Tiffany in a weekly magazine. In this week's National Enquirer the woman makes all sorts of allegations against the TBS host similar to Michelle "Bombshell" McGhee. Meanwhile it is now two months since Sandra Bullock moved out of the Orange County home she shared with Jesse James and he is talking to ABC Nightline. The network notes "Vicki Mabrey's exclusive interview with Jesse James airs Tuesday May 25, 2010 at 11:35pm Et/Pt on Nightline."(Image: WENN) »
Michelle, you look like you’re ready to hit Hollywood in your goddess get-up!
The White House state dinner for Mexican president Felipe Calderon looked more like a movie premiere than a political feast — with Michelle Obama playing the role of the leading lady of the night! Sure, there were actual screen sirens in attendance, (like Beyonce and Eva Longoria Parker), but the true style star was the First Lady! Michelle stole the show in a beautiful blue Peter Soronen one-shoulder gown, complete with rhinestone belt. From the silhouette to the way the dress cascaded around her — the dress was a perfect fit!
Among those who got to mingle with the President and his glam wife were New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, comedian George Lopez, and Whoopi Goldberg. And, in case you were wondering: No party crashers, though an assistant secretary of state was reportedly turned away for not having proper ID. »
Amazing food, gorgeous gowns, elegance was the order of the night for the Obama's second state dinner. That and super-tight security.
Best of all, no gate crashers! Thanks to the new White House social secretary Julianna Smoot, who replaced Desiree Rogers, who resigned earlier this year, after that embarrassing gatecrasher incident.
The party even spread out on the South Lawn for dessert and after dinner entertainment that included Beyonce (Jay-z was there, too) and guitarist Rodrigo y Gabriela. Other guests included Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Longoria Parker (just back from Cannes), George Lopez and Olympic speed skater Shani Davis.
There was reportedly even some late night dancing involving Barack, Michelle, Mexican President Felipe Calderon and wife Margarita Zavala, but reporters were politely removed before »
Update: What a change from President and First Lady Obama's first White House state dinner. (Obama Thanks Hollywood With Coveted Invites) This time around, only a few actors and actresses and others from Hollywood made the cut: Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Longoria-Parker, George Lopez, Univision's Jorge Ramos from Miami, and former DreamWorks political adviser Andy Spahn, now an independent consultant but still advising Skg. (Geffen and Spielberg attended the 1st state dinner...) CAA's Christy Haubegger, the founder of Latina magazine and a film producer before she became an agent, is invited only to the entertainment portion in honor of the Mexico President with Beyoncé and Rodrigo y Gabriela [...] »
