Trivia:
Before WCW's WWF buyout, their next PPV was to be called The Big Bang, which was supposed to state the new WCW because of previous bad ratings, instead of the previously used Spring Stampede. It was scheduled to take place on May 6, 2001. more

the last WCW ppv ever, 2 March 2002
10/10
Author: OzzyCash from Nashville, TN

Vince McMahon bought WCW and can call it whatever he wants but WCW died at this event, well their last show was a Nitro but this was the last ppv. The event started off with Kwee Wee vs Jason Jett, it's ashame Jason better known in ECW as EZ Money never got the chance to shine the fans were really taking a liking to this guy he had some great moves. Then WCW proved again how stupid they were by creating a new title and a new tag division knowing they were fixing to go out of business, why did they get creative when it didn't matter? Elix Skipper and Kid Romeo upset Kidman and Mysterio to become the new cruiserweight tag champs. Bigelow then took on Stasiak in a horrible match, but we see Stacy Keibler so that's good. Hugh Morrus and Konnan took on Lance Storm and Mike Awesome, Shane Helms took on Chavo Guerrero. Then the laziest men in pro wrestling, Luger & Buff Bagwell took on O'Haire & Palumbo. The next few matches were Ernest Miller vs Kanyon, Rick Steiner vs Booker T, Dusty & Dustin Rhodes vs Jeff Jarrett & Ric Flair. And in the main event Scott Steiner defended his world title against DDP. Overall a good ppv, at least for WCW's standards but sadly the last.
