Charlie Murphy, Comedian and Brother of Eddie Murphy, Passes Away at 57
The Hollywood community is in mourning once again, after losing another beloved actor and comedian. Charlie Murphy, the older brother of legendary comedian Eddie Murphy and star of the iconic comedy series Chappelle's Show, has passed away at the age of 57. Murphy's manager confirmed that he died from Leukemia earlier this morning in a New York City hospital, where he was undergoing chemotherapy.

TMZ reports that the actor's death comes as an absolute shock to his family, since they had thought he was improving. The site says that his family would call him frequently, and that he would even joke that they were calling him too much. It hasn't been confirmed how long he had been undergoing chemotherapy treatment for, before his death.

Charlie Murphy was born July 12, 1959 in Brooklyn to Lillian Murphy, a telephone operator, and Charles Edward Murphy, a New York transit officer who was also an amateur actor and comedian.

An outpour of actors and comedians are paying tribute to the late Charlie Murphy, Eddie Murphy‘s older brother, who reportedly passed away at the age of 57 after a battle with leukemia.

According to TMZ, Charlie died in a New York City hospital. His manager reportedly said he had been battling leukemia and going through chemotherapy treatment.

After learning about his death, Chris Rock, Kevin Hart, Ice Cube and many more took to social media to remember the late actor, who rose to fame as a recurring performer on Comedy Central’s Chappelle’s Show from 2003-4.

Charlie Murphy Rip,” Rock wrote. “Wow….This is crazy,” Hart posted on Instagram. “All I can say is Rip. A bone donation?

I'm not sure which was more shocking: finding out that you could donate bones and they are replaced with a Pvc tube... or that crazy fox on Hetty's shoulders.

"Paper Soldiers" was another NCIS: Los Angeles Season 4 episode that involved a case which NCIS didn't really need to investigate. Despite that, it did provide for a few humorous moments, especially with Hetty.

NCIS was called in to investigate the death of Lt. Prietto when his widow questioned the circumstances of his killing. Wouldn't that be answered with just a simple records check? Or shouldn't the team have gone to interrogate Prietto's commanding officer? NCIS's entry into this case was the weakest I can remember for this show. Of course, the widow's private investigator being killed added to the intrigue, but that was a different case.
