Rather boring horror movie.

"Bahay ni Lola" starts slowly - and maintains that speed until the end. It's a rather boring horror movie with few chills, no action and only limited drama. It's not offensively bad, it just lacks anything that would interest in a movie. It feels very long, even though it only runs about 90 minutes.

I'll make it short and rate the movie

Not intended for an international audience

Warning: Spoilers
GRANDMOTHER'S HOUSE is another cheap Filipino horror story which is largely uninteresting thanks to the low budget and lack of horror content. I mean, if you're planning on having demons in your movie, why keep them unseen and relatively unused in the plot? This one's about a bickering family who visit an old ancestral home with all of the lame character-based comedy you'd expect. Localised demons take the opportunity to attempt to possess some of them, but this all plays out in a long-winded and boring way with only talk making up the running time. It might play well for local viewers but not for an international audience.
