I enjoy foreign films, precisely because they tend to be fresh and innovative. This mess of a film is trying too hard to imitate the fluff screwball comedies that Hollywood puts out and does a very bad job at it. The characters are one dimensional, caricatures of real humans and the premise lacks credibility. That wouldn't be too bad if it were entertaining, which this film is not. The actors did what they could given the material, unfortunately they are never able to give pathos to their characters.When watching this film you will have the sense that you have seen it before, it borrows imagery from an array of Hollywood offerings from "Look who's talking" to "The Big Chill". Unfortunately for Apasionados, it lacks the passion of the Hollywood versions on every level.
