The movie was, perhaps, ahead of its times.. the plot being rather novel.. the female leads very very gorgeous and the music track AWESOME. Akbar Khan, the lead actor, disappoints with his lack of acting talent and wooden dialog delivery.. but the movie impresses. The soundtrack (sorry to repeat)reflects the talent of Ajit Singh, a nightclub singer, music director (of very few films) and a true-blue Indian prince. The track (KABHI KABHI.. DIL YEH ROTA HAI) is stunning. We also have a rather philosophical number, courtesy, Bappi Lahiri, a prominent music director of yesteryear's. Watchable for its awesome sound track and gorgeous actresses, if nothing else..

Really ahead of its time.

I have seen this movie and still remember liking it a lot. Look at the female actors Parveen Babi,Smita Patil and Soniya Valia they were all ahead of their time. The movie most certainly was ahead of its time. I agree with Mr.Sarkar's comments. I have been looking for its DVD,VCD and CD sound tracks.I can't find them anywhere. One more such movie I am looking for is a Mahesh Bhatt's television movie "Janam" Starring Kumar Gaurav.
If any one has either of the movies, and / or soundtracks I would like to buy them.If anyone can tell me where to find them I would appreciate it.
