Beginning to see the light?

This MTV work by Luis Bunuel's son is downright embarrassing ;its first part is realistic to a fault but halfway through ,it becomes weird to end up in an eerie way ,à la "carnival of souls".

A man (François Cluzet) 's brother has nasty habits and dangerous shady "friends " ;he gets killed and Cluzet becomes blind ;he won't accept that he should become an object of pity and he severs all links with his family ,particularly with an over possessive mom (Dora Doll).Although reluctant,he finally agrees physical therapy and learns Braille ,mainly to take revenge on those who are responsible for his tragedy;there is the obligatory love story between the handicapped hero and the person who takes care of him.

The second part introduces a young boy and the strange relationship he has with his mother, and deals with the revenge ;less conventional,it's difficult to see what Juan Bunuel is driving at .The last pictures may puzzle the viewer.
