Shocked me, scarred me, changed me
24 October 2002 | by (Los Angeles) – See all my reviews

Saw this film in a festival in Hollywood. Stood out among all films I saw there. For awile I forgot about it. But then it slowly crept up on me. After a few weeks, I started having dreams about "Male Order". I dreamt alternate versions, with different endings. What hit me was the desperation. The agony. The suffering. very disturbing, yet funny, and touching.

Whoever this filmmaker is has a grasp on his main character and all his wives. Oops, am I giving too much away? Strong debut film for John Shane and some great performances from the actors.

Noticed a cameo by Ethan Embry and Kimo Wills.
