Storyline

Francine (Regine Velasquez) is starting to feel the toll of stardom. Her popularity and hectic schedule hinders her from enjoying a normal life. Meanwhile, because he felt cheated of his prize in a "Date with a Star" promo where he supposedly won a date with her, Gimo (Robin Padilla) kidnaps Francine. Being the candid person that he is, Gimo allows the singing sensation to take pleasure in living life's simple pleasures - which Francine later realizes she's been missing. But is Francine willing to give up her career? Not just to go back to ordinary life but also to live it with the special man who addresses her complexities. Written by fab-one

the bad boy meets the songbird
6 September 2002 | by (davao, philippines) – See all my reviews

A funny movie. Robin Padilla (Gimo) hilariously essayed the role of a number one fan of a singing superstar (Francine, played by Regine). The wacky cast composed of Rufa Mae and John L. added more spice. A movie for those who like to see Robin in his not so usual bad boy role.
