This is the final result of a great experiment. The four movies recorded simultaneous on new year eve 1999 together with the filming of the directors at work has now been edited into the final version of D-dag. (The title means D-dag the finished film.) This is the editors cut, where he has taken the five 70 minutes film roles and cut them down to one movie of 65 minutes. The original D-dag was your own to edit all five movies where on simultaneous on up to seven different TV- channels. However here we see a professional editors version. The plot is the same for all versions of D-dag: Four people has planned to rob a bank, and they shall use the noise from the new year celebration to hide the explosion. We follow them in the hour around the robbery. Written by
Well the other guy is right, in a way. The concept was that 4 movies would run LIVE at the same time on different channels, and you would edit the movie yourself by changing between the channels. You could end up watching a very confusing movie if you changed the channels on the wrong times. But if you changed at the right times it was not as confusing. The cool thing was that everybody saw the same plot and the same people, but everybody saw a different movie.
BUT later the 4 directors would edit the movies down to one movie that was on t.v. the next year, and I THINK that was a very good movie.
But everybody likes different stuff
