"Long Love Letter" is a really touching story. It's not exactly a story questioning the meaning of fate as the plot outline says, but more like a story asking people not to pollute our mother earth any further.

The bond between the teachers and students is so strong and impressive. And the thing I like about this story is the stupidity of the adults. They are bonded by the rules and 'reality' they've created and so cannot accept the life in the post-apocalyptic 2020. So ironic yet so true.

Also the purpose of life is being questioned in this story. Besides, the desert scenes are impressive and the story is excellent. The only thing I don't like about is the ending. It's kind of ambiguous. But it's still worth 9 points. Highly recommended.
