Quotes

Constable Sophia Marinkovitch: [catching Theo] Theo, wait. Look, um, I know that things have been weird between us for a while and I know I said that work relationships can't... work, but maybe they can, I don't know. But the thing is, I know I said I didn't want things to go any further between us, and maybe I do, now. Look, I've finally decided on something I need to do, so I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm willing to take the risk if you are.
[she turns and leaves a very stunned Theo]

pilot episode - Brilliant!
8 September 2002 | by (UK) – See all my reviews

I've only seen the first pilot episode (courtesy of a friend from Australia) and I thought it was fantastic and I for one didn't see the "who dunnit" until near the end. Freya Stafford is going to wear herself out if she keeps up her intense role up for long. I can see this developing into an excellent show and the ratings do seem to substantiate this view. Its been pitched against some good opposition and seems to be holding its own.All the main cast are well portrayed: Peter O'Brien just gets better and better, with him in this series it can't help but win! Hope it comes to the UK - soon!
