TD's '90 sound could be disappointing to old band's fans...

In fact, Tangerine Dream's music has changed so many, many times! The Video Dream Mixes it's a strange mixture between music and band's footage (more remixed than the music, believe me!). If you like TD's old style music ('70s albums, those sound beauties called Green Desert, Phaedra, Rubycon, Ricochet...) you maybe be disappointed: there's nothing "à la planante" style. Those who like the (strong) Jerome Froese (Son of Edgar Froese, founder of the band)influence on TD's style would adore the movie. Personally I prefer more relaxed clips. Being the video answer of their double album "The Dream Mixes", there's one track on it called "Virtually Fields" (superb!) who doesn't appear on the movie: it's a pity! Anyway, an enjoyable experience for any TD fan (but those ones -like me- who prefer the old style, better check other very-hard-to-find band titles)
