From what I've seen, this is a really great bad movie
15 December 2007 | by (Worcester, MA) – See all my reviews

I've only seen the half hour excerpt of this flick on Something Weird's DVD double feature of "Death Curse of Tartu" and "Sting of Death", but it really whetted my appetite for more. Remember those old female tribe jungle exploitation flicks that were popular in the 50s? I love those camp classics such as "Wild Women of Wongo". This is kind of like if H.G. Lewis were to direct one. In other words, this is a camp classic - it has that special kind of badness that transcends right over into pure surrealist territory. The gore effects are among the cheapest I've seen and are positively riotous. The dialog and "acting" provide plenty of giggles, as does the theme song which is bound to be stuck in your head for weeks. Its kind of like Paul Anka on lots of 'ludes with Martin Denny backing him. Apparently the fine folks at Something Weird have dug up a nearly complete version, so I'll have to check that out pronto. (7/10)
