Finally, A Childhood Hero Come To Life, 28 August 2002
Author: Big Movie Fan from England

I was a big fan of Dan Dare (from the British Eagle comic) as a child and I was ecstatic when he made his debut in this fantastic show.

This show will probably be enjoyed more by people like me who were fans of Dan Dare as a child but I am just as sure that it will be successful in introducing a new generation to Dan Dare.

All the favourite good guys and bad guys are here and I don't think they've changed anything for this adaption (I could be wrong-it has been a very long time since I've read Dan Dare). Dan Dare is joined by the beautiful Professor Peabody and his chum Digby to battle the likes of the evil Mekon (the ugliest alien ever with a huge green head).

I strongly recommend this show to anyone particularly fans of Dan Dare.

Now if only they'd make a Dan Dare movie I'd be happy.
