I caught this film while watching the IFC short film block. Out of the four or five shorts shown, this was the one that actually engaged me. I thought the shots were beautiful and the color use was really interesting.
I do agree with the previous comment of it seeming art school. It did have its moments that were a little pretentious. The fact that the dialogue was cryptic or non-existant did keep the viewer from easily guessing what was going on, however, compared to the horrid dialogue in most of the other shorts, the fact that the writers were kept at bay i appreciated.
And although this type of story-telling has been done before, I found the whole film enjoyable. I really thought the composition in some of the shots was amazing. So, if you're flicking around looking for something to watch and you see this, tune in.
