Jessica Spencer is the hottest, most popular girl in high school. Jessica, her best friend April, and a couple of other hot girls Lulu and Keecia visit the mall to hang out and do some shopping. They enter a new age store, where they check out a pair of ancient earrings. Unbeknownst to Jessica, these are magical ones set in ancient Abyssinia. A princess known as Princess Nawa is disgusted by the groom of her arranged marriage and switches bodies with a slave girl by means of an enchanted set of earrings. Since the earrings are not for sale, Jessica steals them. But the next morning she gets a big dose of reality when she wakes up in the body of a 30-something lowlife male, Clive, a career criminal. Clive finds himself in Jessica's body. Now it's up to Jessica (in Clive's body) to find a way to get her body back, while Clive (in Jessica's body) takes advantage of his new body to set in motion a crime spree to put the blame on Jessica! Rachel McAdams and Melora Hardin play mother and daughter in the movie. In real life, the two are only eleven years apart. See more »
In the first opening cheer-leading scene, Jessica runs off to the side and says, "Ready, Hindenburg?". While the character's actual name is "Hildenburg", this is meant as a joke on her weight, in reference to the famous blimp, and is entirely intentional. See more »
Jessica Spencer (Rachel McAdams from "Mean Girls") heists a pair of earrings from an tribal shop at the mall. After a run-in with another robber at a gas station (Rob Schneider), she loses one earring from the set. Turns out these jewelery pieces are magical and allow body-switching. We're dealing with a bad news/good news scenario here. the bad new being that the writer is the same responsible for "The Animal" travesty. The good news is this is considerably better. However, Anna Faris shouldn't make any more comedies, in every single comedy I've seen her in she is capable of a whole range of.. ONE expression, that would be being shocked/ Surprised, which would be fine if she didn't use it about 50 times per movie. But if gay stereotypes, fat jokes, and dick humor is your cup of tea By all means help yourself. You know what? I probably made it sound better than it is actually. It all honesty, this is merely an alright film even if it does feel a bit tame for a Schneider movie.
