The second made-for-TV movie by screenwriter and director Martina Elbert about an overweight 15 year old teenager getting accidently pregnant. Her only friend is a young woman who travels from city to city with her mother. They're now both searching for a family who are willing to adopt the baby.
The story is not as good as Elbert's last one. Pretty much obvious and typical, sometimes questionable. But the actors are terrific! Nearly all of them play very naturally and convincing. I have to say that this fact is worth watching it for a second time.
I didn't like the scene where the girl gets the baby cause she didn't get in the hospital but in a swimming pool. That was because no one was allowed to know about her pregnancy, not even her own mother who just thought her daughter would eat too much. Also, a teenager in her age would know that it's not healthy to smoke or drink alcohol during pregnancy. But she didn't mind.
