Among the best series of TVE.
3 May 2015 | by (Spain) – See all my reviews

It's an excellent Spanish TV series, perhaps the best in many years. Along with "Siete Vidas" are perhaps the two series have enjoyed the most. In each episode of "Cuéntame Cómo Pasó" tell the story from 1968-1975, in the early seasons and shows the evolution of the main characters played by Imanol Arias excellent (Antonio Alcantara), Ana Duato (Mercedes), Pablo Rivero ( Tony), Irene Visedo (Inés), Maria Galiana (Herminia, grandmother), Ricardo Gómez (Carlitos Alcantara), Pere Ponce (Eugenio, former priest and groom Inés) and the most hated in the series embroidering the character, "Don Pablo" (Pepe Sancho), all of them will enter fully into the society of the time. Politics, hatred, arguments, humor, love, everything is present in this series represents a time of change (late 60s, 70s half).

The series continues to show the death of Franco, and where it should end, but with the great success and exciting era that followed, understood that it was necessary to extend the series that continues very interesting plots and me are leaving me puzzled by many things, and gradually discover more of how people lived in those years. The villain of the series makes this the highest grade, "Don Pablo" (Pepe Sancho) deserves. What about that perfect recreation of what was a person related to the regime in those years. With him the Alcantara family has lived moments of great intensity.

The story of "Cuéntame Cómo Pasó" is so long that this review does not do justice. The series has won numerous awards, both nationally and internationally; it is one of the longest running televisions today, and their technical and artistic quality is enormous. The series features the voice of an adult and "Carlitos" (Carlos Hipolito), which in each chapter recounts seen from today as were those years. Another feature of the series is the effect called "Forrest Gump," which makes the Alcantara participates in person in our history, combining the image of actors with archive footage.

In short, It's highly recommended series, from my perspective as a masterpiece, with interesting plots, a story houses, and great actors accompanied by great script and perfect direction. Do not miss anything this series. It's true that all happens to the Alcantara family, but is merely an instrument to tell all the adversities of the time, so it is still fiction, yet a great job.
