A wonderful adaptation in the vein of Madeline
llltdesq5 December 2002
This short is an adaptation of the Eve Titus Anatole stories. Rembrandt Films does this as well as UPA did with another character from children's literature, one Madeline by name. Anatole is a very debonair and dapper mouse, French by nationality, and his adventures in a cheese factory. Although the Deitch Tom and Jerry cartoons didn't come off too well, this works like a charm. It can be found on Rembrandt Films Greatest Hits, available most places and worth getting. Most recommended.
